Running HWRF on normal PCs

Hi there,

I am using HWRF on a normal PC, with configuration of 8 CPUs and 24GB Ram. I am trying to run IRMA example. However, it fails in running ghosts. I am wondering if you could help me to solve this issue. In rsl_error, no error comes, and this is the rsl_out log:

I should add that the netcdf errors, come into the WRF run of outer and inner domains, but do not lead to the failure of simulation. I guessed that it causes by the limitation of the system configuration. So I tried to change its namelist. It passed init_gdas and init_gfs successfully, but faced with another error in init_bdy. Should I change the namelist?

Could you check the error message in the rsl* file for the real part? One possible reason is that the memory is not big enough.

Regarding rsl files in intercom folder/.../realinit, real is ended with "SUCCESS COMPLETE REAL_NMM INIT". Both wrfbdy and wrfinput are also created for d01. 

Reported memory for NOAA servers is 30 GB. Do you think adding virtual memory can help us with this issue?

Is there any suggestion about changing the domains size?
