install error

I am installing vortex tracker on linux but getting a problem on directing the ./configure to required libs already installed.

When I give the path to libz, libpng and libjasper located in /usr/lib and /usr/lib/x86_64-lib it keeps saying Unable to locate libz or libpng etc.

How to fix this?
