How to get access to rstprod on HPSS

1. Use your NOAA email credentials (i.e., your email address without the @noaa.gov part and your email password) to log onto the Account Information Management (AIM) system: https://aim.rdhpcs.noaa.gov/

2. Select "Request new access to a project," select "rstprod" under project, and use the following justification: "I am a HWRF developer seeking access to the rstprod project. While my work does not require the use of restricted observations, the input datasets for HWRF are bundled with restricted datasets. Therefore, the guidance from the NWS is that HWRF developers should obtain access to rstprod." Submit request.

3. Once your access is approved and the output of "groups" on the Jet/Hera command line includes rstprod, you'll want to send a separate email to rdhpcs.hpss.help@noaa.gov and ask them to add you to the rstprod project on hpss. Mention that you're already a member on Jet/Hera.
