GSI test case 1 issues

I have successfully compiled GSI based on the GitHub instructions for the latest version: https://github.com/comgsi/GSI

However, when I use the Tutorial Case 1 (found at this link) I get error 127. In the gsimain,f90 file error 127 is empty. Do you have an idea what the issue might be?
